*By purchasing baked goods from With Love & Buttercream, it is assumed that you have read and accept our terms and conditions in full.
Ordering Process
Custom Cookies & Cupcakes - Submitting a request for custom cookies or cupcakes, is a request only. Once your request has been submitted, we will contact you within three business days to let you know if your desired date is available for an order. A request does not reserve a spot in the calendar. Once we have discussed your order, a deposit of 50% is required to hold your date.
Seasonal Offerings - With Love & Buttercream offers seasonal packages for most occasions. In submitting an order form for seasonal offerings, it is deemed that you are if fact ordering the products as designed by With Love & Buttercream. Within 3 business days, we will contact you to confirm order and payment.
Pricing & Quantities
Our pricing ranges for custom cookies, cupcakes and seasonal offerings are available on the website and are non-negotiable. Final pricing for custom cookie and cupcake orders is dependent on the complexity of design and quantity of colours needed. Each treat is handmade and decorated specifically for your event, so quantity discounts are not offered.
Minimum quantities apply to custom orders: 2 dozen for cookies and 1 dozen for cupcakes (all one flavour). Seasonal offerings are sold as presented and no changes will be accommodated. If you want to make changes to a seasonal package, this then becomes a custom order and applicable charges and minimums will apply.
Dietary Restrictions
With Love & Buttercream does not accommodate dietary restrictions, sensitivities or allergies, and is not responsibility for any food allergies or reactions to our products. Our baked items are made in a home kitchen
that is nut and gluten friendly.
Designs
Custom Cookies & Cupcakes - We will work closely with the customer on the design, based on event theme and colors. Once an order is placed, adjustments and alterations may only be made at the discretion of With Love & Buttercream on an individual basis. We reserve the right to refuse any adjustments and alterations after an order is finalized. With Love & Buttercream reserves the right to increase an order fee in the event that the customer requests a variation to the original order specifications. No alterations to an order are accepted less than 7 calendar days prior to reserved pickup date. Final designs, colors, and other variants are at the discretion of With Love & Buttercream.
Seasonal Offerings - We will seek to maintain the integrity of the colors as displayed. However, it is very difficult to recreate the same color from one order to the next, so color variation may occur. We reserve the right to modify the design or presentation materials (such as tissue paper, bows, etc) based on product availability without consulting the customer. Should a major change be deemed necessary, we will consult with the customer prior to order completion.
Cancelling an Order
The following conditions will be implemented at the discretion of with Love & Buttercream if an order is cancelled:
- 8 or more calendar days from pickup date: payment is refunded in full. Note: if Square was used to process your payment, a processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
- 0-7 calendar days from pickup date – no refund or credit will be issued.
- Any custom items that have been purchased specifically for your order, will be deducted from the value of any refund regardless of the date of notification of cancellation.
In the unlikely event that With Love & Buttercream needs to cancel your order, we will contact you as soon as possible and your payment will be refunded in full by With Love & Buttercream.
Pick Up
Orders must be picked up at the agreed upon time and date. Any orders not collected within 30 minutes of the agreed upon collection time may need to be rescheduled, and any rescheduled collection times will be solely at With Love & Buttercream's discretion. Failure to respond or reach out to With Love and Buttercream after 72 hours results in your order being forfeit. No refund or credit will be issued.
Order Release and Care
Once the baked items are handed over at pickup and are in the customer’s possession, With Love and Buttercream is not responsible for any damage incurred due to transport, improper handling or storage. Cookies and cupcakes are fragile and do need to be handled with care. To safely transport your baked items, it is highly recommended that you have a flat surface in your vehicle that is clear from other contents.
Cookies are individually heat sealed and if they are kept in those wrappers, they will stay fresh at room temperature for up to two weeks. They may also be frozen for several months if kept in their individual wrappers.
Due to the perishable nature of cupcakes, we do not recommend keeping them at room temperature for longer than 3 days. Cupcakes should be stored in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and sources of heat in the box provided. They should not be refrigerated.
Refunds
All sales are final. If you are unhappy with your order, you must bring it to our attention within 24 hours of pickup to give us fair opportunity to assess the nature of your concern.
In order to discuss options for any possible rectification, all uneaten items must be returned to With Love and Buttercream in their original packaging. Then With Love & Buttercream will review the returned product and may make a discretionary gesture of goodwill based on the condition of the baked item and offer a credit to be used in the future.
